Brittni Shambaugh Addison is originally from Sneads Ferry, North Carolina (home of the Shrimp Festival!). She is the current Education Director at Creede Repertory Theatre, and also serves on the Board of Directors at Creede Early Learning Center. She received her BA in Theatre from Wake Forest University and her MFA in Directing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Brittni has had the pleasure of teaching, directing, and performing across the country, and is particularly passionate about creating and participating in programs that bring the Arts into under-served populations. As an educator, she believes strongly in the power of Arts Integration and is focused on exploring the “why and how” rather than the “what.” She lives in Creede with her husband, Lavour, daughter, Aria, and two dogs, Luna and Dudley.
