Creede Parks and Recreation has something for every age! Students of Creede School in Kindergarten through 5th grade may attend the Rec Center for free, 6th -12th grade students must volunteer 15 hours a year for their annual membership. These volunteer hours are community service hours which are also good for the Junior DC trip, National Honor Society, and various service organizations. Watch  the memo board in the high school for volunteer activities each month.

Open Gym Basketball is every Monday from 6-8pm. Open Gym Volleyball is every Tuesday from 6-8pm.

Every Thursday from 6-8pm is Game Night or Movie Night for Elementary Students. These are FREE to attend! Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Watch for the monthly Rec Schedule sent home at the beginning of each month or check out our Facebook page for the schedule.

Teen Night is every Thursday from 8-10pm.  FREE to attend.  This is for middle school and high school students only.

We are currently offering Rec Friday day camps on various Fridays throughout the school year. This information is also on the monthly rec schedule.

Thanks to a GOCO grant we are excited to offer fully funded ski trips for our middle school and high school students this year.  Thanks to the GOCO grant we will also have an archery league, a climbing wall, and a bouldering rock at Ed Hargreaves Memorial Park, as well as some exciting outdoor adventures for middle school and high school students this upcoming summer.

Creede Parks and Recreation has many after school programs that we hope to start soon. These include Renaissance Kids, Mini Miner Motivators, and Pee Wee Sports.  Our Pee Wee Sports include volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and soccer.  We will send information home from school as activities open up.

We also offer a variety of summer activities.  Watch for our Summer Program booklet at the beginning of May 2021.

We have a lot happening with Creede Parks and Recreation. Come see us at the Virginia Christensen Multi-use Facility at 408 La Garita.  Call Kathryn or Kristeen at 719-658-2729 with any questions! Make sure to follow us on Facebook to get the latest information!
