Inclement Weather

Dear CSD Families,
Thank you for taking your time this morning in getting your children to school safely. Although we didn’t have an extreme amount of snow here in Creede,
some of our families are traveling up from the Valley and they were experiencing far worse conditions with power outages, downed trees, and snow accumulations
near a foot.

The decision to close or keep school open is one of the most difficult and challenging decision we face. The district will always make a decision that is best
for all students. We realize, at times, our decision may not fit with your individual circumstances. Therefore we encourage and strongly support you in making the
decision that is best for your child.

All families should have received notification via phone.  We also post to the school’s website, app and Facebook page. If this information
was not conveyed to you, please let us know and we’ll try to remedy the situation. Together we are MinerStrong!
