Principal

Jennifer Johnson has 29 years of experience within the field of education.  She has taught general and special education for nineteen years, ranging anywhere from age 4 to 21.  For ten years,  Jennifer was a special education administrator, and before moving to Creede, she was the Director of Special Education in a large school district outside of Pittsburgh, PA.  Throughout her career, she has also coached gymnastics, cheerleading, and volleyball. 

She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University in 1992 and her Master's Degree in Infant Mental Health in 2011 from Chatham University.  In between her Bachelor's and Master's Degree, Jennifer also earned her license to teach Special Education at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her license as a Supervisor of Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh.   Currently, she is attending the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs to receive her Principal License. 

Jennifer and her husband, Scott, moved from Lower Burrell, PA, to Creede in 2019.  They have a son, Cameron, a Rig Welder in West Virginia and a daughter, Taylor, a senior majoring in Environmental Studies at Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, PA.
