COVID-19 Update

Dear Creede School Families,

The Creede School District has been in deliberation, consultation with health experts, and discussion of how best to address the many needs of our students, families, and staff.  The District has decided to close our school District now through April 20th. We will reevaluate any changes needed at that time. We will move our instruction to a remote learning format starting on March 30th.  During March 23rd through March 26th the school will be closed so the administration and teaching staff can finalize the plans for students. During this time the school will still be offering lunches to the students in the form of grab and go meals at specific pick up locations.  We will be sending more information out on this subject in the coming days. We just want to thank you for filling out the technology inventory and the school administration will be contacting you if you stated that you have internet or device needs. We will be working to solve these issues.

We know that this decision will put a stress on your family and we took that into consideration.  Allowing for social distancing will help protect our community against COVID-19 as there is new information coming out every day about this virus.  If the federal or state government releases new information regarding schools, please know that information will supersede what the school has created.

With this being an unfamiliar situation for everybody, we ask for your patience and understanding as we chart these new waters together.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the administration team and we will do our best to assist you.
