School Groups
The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. Student Council meets during Focus the first and third Wednesday of the month.
The Creede Clay Shooting Team will be shooting at the new site above the landfill office, schedule TBD with athletes. For more information about the sport, go to usaclaytarget.com. This sport is open to athletes from 6th-12th grade residing in the Upper Rio Grande region or Eastern San Juans as the Weather Channel refers to us.
Student Groups
PEAK is the Youth Advisory Council for ROCK Coalition. ROCK is connected to Silver Thread Public Health and is focused on substance abuse prevention among our community’s youth through analyzing data and creating new, health-based activities.
