Lucinda Carpenter began her career at Creede Schools in 1985 as Secretary/Bookkeeper.  In 1990, she took a brief break from Creede Schools to obtain her teaching license from Adams State University.  She began her teaching career at Sargent School and Adams State University where she taught mathematics.  In 1999, she returned to Creede Schools and began her teaching career in Creede.  She also returned as a bookkeeper.  Over the years, Lucinda has held many positions in Creede Schools including teaching Business, Math and PE.  She has sponsored FBLA, Cheerleading, and Drama Club.  Coaching Volleyball, Basketball, and Track are also a part of her history.  Lucinda is very excited to be back at Creede Schools, after retiring from teaching, as the Chief Financial Officer.  Lucinda is married to Ron who is a graduate of Creede High School.  She is the mother to Jeffrey and Kyle who are both graduates of Creede High School and the grandmother to Trenea and Taylor who are currently attending Creede Schools.
